Are there any saxo coders out there that would like to work on a contract basis with a company in the NW burbs of Chicago for a couple of months?

The European User Conference took place last week in Malmö, Sweden. The conference was a great success with good input from SAXOTECH, our partners, and several customers who also made presentations.
The theme of the conference was
Different Ways to Make Production More Efficient, and all presentations were related to that theme.
The presentations have now been uploaded to the SAXOTECH wiki. Find them here:…

We've been live with Saxo print & online since about June and as a support person what I think has been the most frustrating part is the lack of any documentation regarding the filters (templates) available for bringing data into the system (newswires, for instance) and out of the system (XML feeds).
Trial and error is not only a massive waste of my time, but unbelieveably frustrating for me and the users needing something tweaked.

These days, everyone is trying to find new and interesting ways to generate revenue via the web, and it could certainly be useful to share ideas and thoughts in this area.
A customer recently suggested to me that SAXOTECH should host a brainstorming session for Online customers to discuss ideas for generating revenue through their websites.
I like this idea, and am interested to hear your thoughts regarding the best way to do this - via Webex? Regional meetings? An online forum?
Is this an id…

I want to add a batch image uploader to Online, but would like to hear if you have any suggestions for how it should work or if there is any special functionality it should have. I'm thinking that it should also offer the ability to rotate images.
Should it be Flash or Java based?

I just completed a super cool plugin for Saxotech Online that enhances the usability of there Search results and CCE results via pagination of the results similar to the popular Digg format. You can read about it on my blog at the link below:
Digg Style Pagination within Saxotech Online
Please let me know if you are interested in the code.

It's been a while since Svend left Wenatchee, so I asked him to add me as an administrator for this group. Are there any housekeeping items to take care of? Features you'd like to see added? What would make this site more helpful for everyone?
Please post your suggestions here or e-mail me at ehelm@heraldnet.com. I've gotten a lot of valuable tips out of other users and the Saxotech folks who pay attention to what gets posted here, so I want to make sure we maintain this network.
Thanks for yo…

Hey folks,
It's pretty cheap to get rid of the Google ads, so I'm thinking I'll pay that off courtesy of The Wenatchee World.
Any other changes y'all would like to see look/feel and component-wise?
Cheers,
Svend
