Thanks for your comment, Dana. We will definitely not reinvent the wheel...I'm looking at purchasing a ready made solution that we can add to Online for both the edit interface and for user submitted images. I'll chalk up a vote for a Flickr/Faceboo…

Why not do something similar to Facebook or Flickr. No need to reinvent the wheel here on photo uploads. That is a simple to use interface that would do the trick.

European User Conference

The European User Conference took place last week in Malmö, Sweden. The conference was a great success with good input from SAXOTECH, our partners, and several customers who also made presentations.

The theme of the conference was Different Ways to Make Production More Efficient, and all presentations were related to that theme.

Generating Revenue

These days, everyone is trying to find new and interesting ways to generate revenue via the web, and it could certainly be useful to share ideas and thoughts in this area.

A customer recently suggested to me that SAXOTECH should host a brainstorming session for Online customers to discuss ideas for generating revenue through their websites.

I like this idea, and am interested to hear your thoughts regarding the best way to do this - via Webex? Regional meetings? An online forum?

Batch image uploader

I want to add a batch image uploader to Online, but would like to hear if you have any suggestions for how it should work or if there is any special functionality it should have. I'm thinking that it should also offer the ability to rotate images.

Should it be Flash or Java based?
